Since many users want to maintain their privacy by hiding Orkut album photos, there is no need of showing a photo updates tab in their profile page. Generally photo updates tab displays your recently uploaded photos, but if your photo album is locked, no one can even see your photos in that photo update tab. And also, removing this will make your profile page clean and look good. Similar thing is also applied to videos. Anyone can view your videos by clicking on videos link on your profile, so why to add this extra tab to your profile? Let’s know how to hide recent photo and video updates on your profile page.
To hide your recent photo and video updates from your profile page, follow the below steps :
- Login to your Orkut profile.
- Navigate to Settings >> General
- Search for a option called “Features to show on your profile“
- Simply uncheck those “Photos” and “videos” option.
- Click “Save” to save the changes you made.
- You are done.
If you want to restore the default settings and show recent photo or video updates on your profile page as usual, you can follow above steps and select those options. But hiding them are enhanced ways to customize your profile and protect your privacy on Orkut.
